WOW. Its already time get our first-day-of-school outfits, pencils, paper, backpacks, scooters, and bikes ready, because school is right around the corner! As much as I have enjoyed all our activities together over the last few months, I am ready to get back to learning. My tail is already wagging with excitement!
With school starting again soon, that means more cars will be on the road in the morning. Vehicles are a primary source of air pollution in the area, which is why it is so important for all of us to do our part and reduce air pollution wherever we can. Start with asking an adult if you can walk, bike, or ride a scooter with friends to and from school at least one day a week so you can decrease the amount of harmful vehicle emissions in our air.
Another way you can help Spare The Air during the new school year is by checking the school supplies you are buying. Look for sustainable and eco-friendly pencil pouches, notebooks and more, to put your best eco-friendly foot forward.
Make sure to share what you have learned this summer from Scooter’s Summer School lessons with your friends, family, and teachers so we can all continue to work together on our mission of having cleaner air for all of us to breathe! Remember, every action makes a difference. You + Me = Community!

I’m sure you all are going to have a great school year!
Until next time!
